Gardener with Casey’s Garden Shop and Florist

Junior Girl Scouts can learn about plants and garden design so they can make their own garden (or fairy garden) and earn the Gardener Badge with Casey’s Garden Shop and Florist.

Casey’s Garden Shop & Florist is a family owned and operated full service florist and garden center serving Bloomington/Normal and the surrounding area since 1949. Our commitment is to provide our customers with an enjoyable experience, the highest quality floral service, plants, garden supplies and education.

Junior Girl Scouts can complete all steps of the Gardener Badge with Casey’s Garden Shop and Florist. Girls will get to visit the garden and get a tour. They will learn about landscape design. They will learn about different plants and what to consider when choosing plants for a garden. They will leave with seeds with which they can experiment. Individual girls or the troop can they purchase plants to be able to grow their own garden.
